The Office of National Statistics has published new data that shows just 22% of autistic adults are in any kind of employment. This gap will likely be far higher as we continue to come out of the pandemic.

Our mission is to help Universities and their staff to provide students the best experience and employment opportunities possible.

What we do

We help prepare neurodiverse students for life beyond university and give them the tools and confidence they need to kickstart their careers. The Neurodiversity Employability Programme consists of an interactive programme of 1-1 mentoring, webinars, live talks hosted by Neuropool and invited employer guest speakers.

  • Access to 1-1 mentorship from a Neurodiverse job coach 
  • Learning how to effectively source and apply for employment opportunities
  • Opportunity for several mock interviews and feedback through each interview stage 
  • Building confidence in a post-pandemic world where many students may have other complex health needs
  • Meeting inclusive employers who have an inclusive interview process (employers are audited by Neuropool) 
  • Exclusive access to live job roles for neurodiverse candidates with inclusive employers via Neuropool’s job board
  • Live events or webinars hosted by Neuropool on a range of topics relevant to the Neurodiverse community
  • Networking opportunities hosted on campus or virtually to showcase live employment opportunities (e.g., internship, placement, graduate roles) open to neurodiverse students with selected employers
